As a Delegate Sales Executive you will join our growing events team, selling a portfolio of live and virtual events.

You will be responsible for the confirmation of attendees to Verdantix events through outbound sales.

The successful candidate will enjoy connecting and engaging with C-Level and senior executives as part of a high-performance team who support each other in a fun, relaxed but professional working environment. You will report to the Events Director.

Experience/Diploma

  • Graduate
  • Up to 2 years experience in a professional environment

 

Skills

  • Experience in the similar role, or the ability to have mutual beneficial conversations with customers / prospects, regarding event attendance and engagement
  • The ability to meet Sales Targets and drive efficient activity levels
  • The ability to learn new products / markets
  • The ability to handle both warm leads, and target your own prospects
  • The ability to build and maintain a healthy Sales Pipeline, enabling sustained achievement of growth Sales goals
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A natural ability to build rapport with other people
  • Be an excellent communicator, especially verbally

 

Additional Requirements

  • World class sense of humour.
  • IT and marketing automation software experience
  • Understanding of how to use CRM systems and data outputs
  • MS Office suite

 

Main Activities

  • Work to a sales plan with the ambition of exceeding targets
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the points in the conference cycle at which sales revenue growth can be influenced, and proactively work with marketing and conference producers to ensure that opportunities are improved in a timely fashion
  • Maintain the financials across your portfolio of events to support accurate forecasting including:
  • volume of past attendees and encouraged retention rates
  • pricing strategy and personal negotiation outlines
  • actual and forecast order volumes and value plus total revenue per conference
  • Driving growth through individual activity
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the value proposition for your events
