Executive Summary

This report provides unique insights to help corporates and software vendors understand anticipated EH&S budget changes for eight EH&S-related processes in 2017. The global analysis is based on interviews with 301 senior EH&S executives at firms with annual revenues ranging from $250 million to over USD$20 billion and identifies trends across four regional geographies (Asia-Pacific, EMEA, North America and Latin America) and five industry sectors (business and financial services, consumer services, energy and basic resources, manufacturing, and retail and consumer products). Verdantix analysis finds that employee training consistently ranks as the top priority process for EH&S budget increase, followed by risk-based process enhancements, 
audit management and sustainability management.
