Shaping innovation
Vantage Councils bring together influential corporate leaders to facilitate knowledge-sharing and innovation in their areas of expertise. Council members are senior executives in major global organizations who are recognized for their commitment to developing and promoting best practices and their interest in the application of digital technology within their business functions.

Councils consist of 12 to 15 members who represent a broad range of industries and geographical regions. Members meet throughout the year to provide feedback and insights on their experiences with technology and services vendors, and to discuss and shape Verdantix research. The output from these meetings is anonymized and shared with thousands of Vantage members and Verdantix subscribers.
As of today, we have established Vantage Council focused on Safety and Sustainability, with Risk soon to launch, and we will continue to add new areas of focus. Zoë Beck is the Assistant Vice President of Sustainability at HCA Healthcare. In her role she leads the company’s efforts in sustainability and convenes stakeholders to develop and advance initiatives in areas including environmental performance, health equity and reporting transparency.
Prior to her current position, she led the sustainability efforts for HealthTrust and Premier, two of the largest healthcare group purchasing organizations. In these positions, she worked with industry suppliers, member health systems and other stakeholders to advance efforts in environmentally preferred purchasing, community supplier development and supplier transparency to assist health systems in advancing their sustainability goals.
Zoë has also served as a guest lecturer for the Health Sector Management program at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and serves on the board of Urban Green Lab, a non-profit dedicated to teaching communities how to live sustainably.
Zoë earned an MBA and Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.

In prior roles, Sam has been part of the globally renowned Carol Cone on Purpose team supporting sustainability efforts at Fortune 500 companies across an array of sectors. Sam has established ESG/Sustainability departments and built employee and community engagement programs for technology companies, financial institutions, manufacturers, retailers and nonprofit organizations around the world. He built the CSR department at Signet Jewelers, the world’s largest retailer of diamond jewelry, enabling the company to dramatically improve its ESG rankings, publish its first CSR report, scale its award-winning responsible sourcing efforts and be recognized as a member of the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index.
Sam was also a leading member of Edelman’s Business + Social Purpose Practice. He combine over 20 years of international corporate ESG, sustainability, community relations and communication experience with a deep knowledge of carbon finance, energy efficiency and the non-profit world. Sam has an MBA, a BA from Boston College and Was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Frankfurt in Germany. He has CSV accreditation from Harvard Business School, is a LEED GA, is GRI accredited and speaks fluent German.
Jaclyn Kaminski-Beneche

Jaclyn Kaminski is the Global Head of Sustainability for International Workplace Group (IWG), the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace solutions, with thousands of locations across 120 countries. IWG’s portfolio includes household names such as Regus, Spaces, Signature, and HQ.
In her role, Jaclyn leads the company’s global sustainability strategy, focusing on decarbonization, supplier engagement, and biodiversity. With IWG responsible for the end-to-end customer workspace experience—from office design to catering—her team addresses a diverse range of sustainability priorities across the business.
Prior to joining IWG, Jaclyn founded and led IPG’s first global sustainability department, advising clients on sustainable brand strategies and integrating sustainability into corporate operations.
She holds a postgraduate certificate in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge, along with certifications in AI and Sustainability, Business Sustainability Management, Net Zero, and Circular Economy.
James Robey

James has led the Capgemini Group sustainability agenda since setting first carbon reduction targets in 2008. He is a long-term advocate of ambitious and transparent targets as a mechanism to drive innovation to ensure continual improvements. He led the development of and is driving the Group’s global net zero program to reduce environmental impacts across its most material impacts towards the goals of the Capgemini becoming net zero business by 2040. The net zero target, validated by SBTi under their Corporate Net Zero Standard, will involve decarbonising the business across all scopes by 90% and investing in removal-based credits to balance the final 10%.
In addition, James also brought a client focus to Capgemini’s sustainability vision, working with the leadership to establish a target for the Group to help its clients with their sustainability and carbon reduction goals.
During his 25-year career at Capgemini, James has held a number of roles, primarily in business development, and programme and change management. In addition to leading Capgemini’s Net Zero Board, he is also a member of the Country Board of Capgemini UK. He also led the roll out of a successful Leadership Development Academy, and continues this interest in developing others in his current role by rotating a wide range of employees from across the business through the sustainability programme.
James brings an academic flavour to his work, holding a degree in Economics and Mathematics, a Master’s degree in Development Economics, and an M.B.A. He completed his doctorate with Henley Business School investigating the drivers and outcomes of corporate sustainability. He lectures on sustainability at a number of universities and is an associate member of faculty at Imperial College Business School, London where he teaches Sustainable Business and Carbon Accounting to both under-graduate and post-graduate students. He also regularly contributes to research reports produced by Capgemini’s award-winning Research Institute[1].

Phil Clarke

As a chartered EHO and H&S practitioner, Phil’s career in risk commenced with twelve years of service in the Army’s Intelligence Corps. In 2002 Phil re-traded as an Environmental Health Officer. Following retirement from the military in 2009, Phil worked in several sectors before focusing on health and social care, joining Nuffield Health as the Safety and Standards Assurance Manager for the hospital division in 2012, and promoted to Head of Health and Safety for the charity in 2017. After a period working in construction and facilities management, Phil returned to the health and social care sector as Head of Health and Safety at Care UK in 2022. Phil holds a degree in History, an MSc in Environmental Health, and is presently on his PhD journey, researching operational risk assessment following the Professional Doctorate pathway.

Prior to joining Spirax Group, Elizabeth’s career was spent in the energy industry in a variety of roles predominantly in Human Resources and resource planning. She is also a graduate of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL).
Stuart Wright

Stuart Wright started work as an Army officer in the Royal Engineers, training first as a Military Engineer and then more formally as a Civil Engineer. After 20 years, a career change took him briefly to PA Consulting and then to Aviva.
Stuart’s time at Aviva has been spent almost exclusively in the planning, design and operational delivery of shared services. His roles have included UK Property Director and Aviva Europe Operational Services Director, before becoming Group Property and Facilities Director, where he had a wide remit including all operational property acquisitions and disposals, as well as running the worldwide real estate portfolio.
In 2021, Stuart was appointed to lead Aviva’s ambition to be carbon net zero across its operations and operations supply chain, including all markets, subsidiaries and joint ventures, building on his strong track record of delivering carbon reduction projects.
Stuart was Chair of the UK Living Wage Foundation Advisory Council – a body that provides advice and guidance on the development of the real living wage in the UK – from 2016 to 2021; he is now a Board Trustee of Citizens UK, the founder charity of the Living Wage Council.

Sandrine Ricard is a seasoned leader who has been shaping Chivas Brothers’s sustainability strategy as Head of Sustainability since October 2017. She has been pivotal in implementing the ‘Good Times for A Good Place’ sustainability roadmap. In July 2022, she assumed the additional role of Deputy Director of Sustainability & Responsibility for Pernod Ricard in the UK, overseeing Pernod Ricard UK and Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail in addition to Chivas Brothers.
Previously, Sandrine served as the Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Pernod Ricard, pioneering the creation of the department and crafting a meticulously structured sustainability strategy. Her influence extended globally, fostering a sustainable leader’s network across affiliates and birthing innovative initiatives like the ground-breaking Responsib’All day event and a global responsible drinking app.
With over 15 years in sustainability, Sandrine brings a genuine passion for sustainable business to her expertise. Her diverse career includes significant experience in public relations and communications in the US.

Joy is currently the Group ESG Director at Crown Worldwide Group, a global logistics firm, based in London. She has strategic oversight of Crown’s sustainability agenda, working closely with business heads and their designated employees to lead effective, sustainable, inclusive and socially responsible initiatives, including an ambitious net zero plan for its operations in 40+ countries.
Formerly Circular Economy Director at the LEGO Group, she transformed the organization’s approach to sustainability and business models by setting the strategic definition and direction for circular economy, creating a 2032 ambition and roadmap, and delivering industry-leading initiatives. Before relocating to Europe, Joy worked extensively in APAC, including heading up the sustainability office at the University of Hong Kong.
As a thought leader in sustainability, Joy teaches regularly on sustainable business in Denmark, Hong Kong and most recently at UCL in the UK. Joy has a Master of Science from the University of Oxford on Biodiversity in Conservation and Management.

Isidora Díaz Heredia has over 20 years of experience leading and implementing sustainability and health and safety programmes in multinational organizations across construction materials manufacturing, mining, environmental services and waste management sectors, as well as in the leisure and hospitality industry. She has held positions at site, country, regional and global levels in health and safety, environment, ESG & sustainability and innovation functions, as well as operational roles with P&L responsibility. This breadth of experience has provided deep understanding of sustainability and health and safety related requirements from different angles, from strategy and policy development to on-the-field implementation.
Since 2018, Isidora has been a member of the Stakeholder Council (SC) of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). The SC's key governance functions include making recommendations on future policy, business planning and activity, and advising the Board on strategic issues related to sustainability reporting.
Isidora has an MBA from ESADE Business School and a Bachelor of Chemistry from the University of Murcia. She is a certified professional in Occupational Health and Safety and holds a Master in Environmental Protection from Polytechnic University of Madrid.

In 2012 he moved to Paris to take a role as VP of HSE at Arkema. He stayed here for 7
years and lead the improvement of the TRIR from a rate of 0.95 to a rate of 0.2.
In 2019 he moved to Orbia in Mexico City as VP of EHS where he set up a 5 year safety
strategy plan and lead the company efforts in managing covid.
In 2021 he returned to France for a short period where he consulted with DSS+ and RMS on
process safety and teaching classes on safety culture in German.

Nick Milillo

Currently Mr. Milillo is the Sr National Director for Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability at Quest Diagnostics, a Fortune 500, $8B company, covering 50,000 employees, 2,500 Patient Service Centers and 6,000 vehicles and drivers, 23 aircraft and over 100 laboratories. Prior to joining Quest, Mr. Milillo was a Global EHS Sr Manager for the materials manufacturing division of a Process Gas company, Praxair / Linde.
Prior to the joining the civilian sector, Mr. Milillo served in the US Army as a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter pilot-in-command.
As part of his active duty service, Mr. Milillo served two tours in Iraq including a tour with the 101st Airborne Division, where he participated in the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Mr. Milillo has been awarded the Meritorious Service Metal and two Air Medals among other military decorations and letters of commendation for his service.
In addition to being a Blackhawk Helicopter Pilot, Mr Milillo also served as an Aviation Operations Officer and an Aviation & Ground Safety Officer, and is a graduate of the US Army Safety Center.

Peter Temesvary

Peter Temesvary is the Safety and Compliance Director at the Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD). He is responsible for overseeing aviation, occupational and fire safety, as well as aviation and corporate compliance. BUD has an integrated safety team, where the different safety disciplines share systems (e.g., hazard reporting) and methodologies (e.g., incident investigation, risk assessment), and conduct inspections and audits together. As an active pilot, Peter brings the aviator’s perspective to airport safety management.
Prior to working at BUD, Peter spent nearly two decades in EHS consulting, designing and managing contaminated site remediation, conducting due diligence site assessments and compliance audits, and helping clients develop and foster programmes to improve safety awareness and safety culture. He is an avid proponent of Just Culture, actively encouraging its adoption throughout all industries.

Born in Colombia, Katherine studied Business Administration before she embarked her career at BHP Billiton, the world's largest mining company. For over 12 years, she worked in different roles in Colombia, Chile and US where she pursued her MBA. She focuses on health & safety, environment, and energy, and specializes in developing and implementing HSEC Management Systems.
For the past eight years, her contributions to adidas headquarters have been centred on sustainability and health and safety for own operations. In her role, she shapes the strategies for workplaces, oversees governance and conducts audits. Her commitment ensures that adidas creates and operates workplaces that provide the best work environments for employees throughout the entire real estate life cycle.

Callum leads on safety and security for IHG Hotels & Resorts globally; a FTSE 100 constituent with more than 6,500 hotels across over 100 countries. IHG hotels operate under one of 19 brands - which include household names such as Holiday Inn and Intercontinental - and under a mix of business models, including a significant number of franchised hotels.
This diverse combination of brand, location and business model – along with the mix of guests types that these different hotels appeal to – drives a varied and regularly evolving set of safety and security priorities for Callum and his colleagues.
Prior to joining IHG, Callum gained substantial experience in consultancy, leading Deloitte’s HSE advisory practice, in addition to holding prior safety roles within hospitality, logistics, public and charitable sectors.
