Executive Summary

This report helps strategy executives, chief marketing officers and business development directors at EHS software firms understand the strength of their brand, in terms of preference and brand awareness, from the perspective of 302 customers across 31 countries and 25 industries. Of the respondents to our survey, 77% represented firms with revenues greater than $1 billion and 66% held role titles of director or above. Verdantix found that SAP, SAI360, UL and iPoint-systems led among the 33 vendors in brand awareness. In addition, prominent vendors Enablon, Benchmark ESG | Gensuite and Intelex were perceived as market leaders by 6% or more of respondents. Our market analysis finds that firms are instigating a two-pronged brand growth approach by expanding their reach regionally, into areas such as Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Europe, and spotlighting the ESG component of their offerings.
