Executive Summary

This report helps strategy executives, chief marketing officers and business development directors at asset management software suppliers understand the strength of their brand awareness and brand preference in the eyes of corporate customers across 13 economic regions and 20 industries. Of the 301 managers across operations, process safety, maintenance and engineering Verdantix interviewed, 90% represented firms with revenues greater than $1 billion. Verdantix found that IBM led among the 30 suppliers for both brand preference and brand awareness. ABB and Siemens followed in brand preference, whilst ABB and Honeywell followed in brand awareness.

Her current research agenda focuses on digital technologies for Operational Excellence including digital twins and software solutions for industrial risk and asset management. Malavika has over 15 years’ experience in research and strategy consulting. Malavika previously worked at Frost & Sullivan, managing and delivering advisory projects for clients involving expansion, acquisition, benchmarking and product development strategies. Malavika holds a MSc in Economics from Madras School of Economics.
