Verdantix Announces Finalists For 2024 EHS Innovation Excellence Awards EMEA

London, UK. Verdantix, the independent purpose-driven research firm, today announced the 14 finalists for its prestigious 2024 EHS Innovation Excellence Awards EMEA. The annual awards recognize the remarkable achievements of individuals and organizations in advancing EHS, sustainability and operational excellence.

These annual awards honour those who have demonstrated innovation and leadership. This year's finalists impressed the judges with their cutting-edge strategies, technologies and projects that have transformed their organizations and driven industry-wide progress. The 2024 finalists are:

  • EHS Compliance Digitization Award: Hitachi Rail, Nexus Logistics and Engro Fertilizers
  • Environmental Impact, ESG Metrics & Reporting Award: Grunenthal GMbH, JSW Steel and Caldic
  • Operational Risk Management Award: Yara International and Boston Scientific
  • Safety Performance Improvement Award: GFG Alliance, Infrabel, British American Tobacco and Babcock International
  • Worker Wellbeing & Occupational Health Award: Volandis & Wij Techniek and Omni Group

 

Additionally, the coveted Supplier Assurance & Contractor Risk Award will be revealed during the awards ceremony. The awards also highlight the contribution of supporting technology and consulting firms: Benchmark Gensuite, Chemrade, Cority, DNV, EcoOnline, EcoPortal, DSS92, Rombit, Sphera, VelocityEHS and Wolters Kluwer Enablon

The EHS Innovation Excellence Awards EMEA 2024 are evaluated by a distinguished panel of independent industry experts. This year’s esteemed judges are: David Revitt, Director, EHS & Sustainability, Vertex Pharmaceuticals (Europe); Isidora Heredia, Chief Sustainability and HSE Officer, Parques Reunidos Group; Marieke Bleyenbergh, Global Director Health, Safety, Environment & Security, AkzoNobel; Weili Zang, Global Head of Sustainability Audit & Systems, Vitesco Technologies. Together with David Metcalfe, CEO of Verdantix, the panel faces the challenging task of selecting the most innovative and impactful entries deserving of recognition.

The awards are part of an annual series of international Innovation Excellence awards hosted by Verdantix that recognize outstanding technological achievements in the fields of EHS, ESG, sustainability, operational excellence, and net zero and climate risk. The global awards programme provides a platform for showcasing pioneering initiatives, inspiring others to embrace innovation and fostering a culture of innovation across industries.
