Experience/Education

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Proven ability to meet KPIs preferable
  • Some commercial business experience with preference for research, media, events and software
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM software preferable

 

Skills / Specific Knowledge

  • Sales characteristics of tenacity, drive, commercial awareness and persuasiveness
  • Outgoing personality enabling you to build rapport with executives and influence decisions
  • Team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Interest in the markets and technologies covered by Verdantix is a significant plus
  • World class sense of humour!

Main Activities

  • Developing relationships with Director, VP and C-level clients to sell annual subscriptions to research content, consulting projects and event sponsorship
  • Supporting the end-to-end sales process across name development, prospecting, scheduling in person meetings for Verdantix Director’s, as well as assisting proposal writing and contracting
  • Research and identify key players and generate interest with target technology and software firms and relationships with senior managers in corporate positions
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls
  • Supporting the Account Management Team by making sure clients are successful in maximising their Verdantix research contracts, resulting in higher customer satisfaction, retention, and growth
  • Work with the Account Manager’s to schedule, facilitate and track client engagement allowing for identification of wider opportunities, as well as identifying risk to contract renewals
  • Over time achieving quarterly and annual sales targets for market research subscriptions, consulting projects and event sponsorship
  • Employ a team selling, consultative approach to accelerate the sales process
