Kash Burchett is an energy economist with over 15 years’ experience in the industry. In his current role at HSBC, Kash covers all links in the carbon management value chain including capture, removal, transportation, utilization and storage. In the past he has covered energy supply and demand fundamentals at BP and worked on corporate strategy at French utility EDF. He was the lead author for the Energy Transition Commission’s 2022 study examining the role of CCUS in the Energy Transition.
