Alex Fath serves as Senior Director of Transportation Compliance & Risk for GEODIS Americas, where he leads regulatory and safety strategy for company drivers, owner-operators, and independent contractors across a network of 20+ legal entities and multiple FMCSA operating authorities. His portfolio spans DOT/FMCSA compliance, driver safety, fleet telematics, enterprise risk management, and insurance risk control governance across North and South America.
A results-oriented leader with a strong technology and change-management focus, Alex specializes in converting regulatory and operational risk into measurable strategic advantages. He has integrated AI- and telematics-driven safety solutions at scale, led compliance and safety workstreams through complex transportation mergers and acquisitions, and built data infrastructure connecting fleet safety to risk-financing ROI. His background includes ISO 45001 implementation across supply chain operations, an MBA in Engineering Management, a UCLA certificate in Enterprise Risk Management, and ASSP’s Global Safety credential. He is also an 11-year U.S. Army veteran.
Alex serves as a Board Member of the Tennessee World Affairs Council, reflecting a longstanding passion for international affairs and cross-border compliance synergy. Having led regulatory and safety operations across North and South American markets, he is especially focused on harmonizing regulatory frameworks and advancing operational continuity across borders — a theme he regularly brings to panels on AI technology, supply chain risk management, and strategic planning.
