Orange Egypt

Facilities Management and Real Estate Manager

Mohamed Abdelhakim is Facilities Management and Real Estate Manager at Orange Egypt, where he leads a national portfolio of offices, retail stores in malls and on the street, a logistics warehouse, seasonal accommodation and critical workplace facilities, including two contact centres and the IT rooms that keep business connected. The company also sub-leases space in a Grade-A tower, giving him both tenant and landlord perspectives.

With more than 20 years in corporate real estate, facilities management and critical infrastructure, he has built a controls-first lease governance model designed for a high-inflation, currency-volatile market, integrated Egypt's mandatory e-invoicing into lease payments, and leads an AI initiative that reviews leasing offers against comparable contracts. He also owns a company-wide employee recognition program.

An electrical engineer who began his career designing low-voltage systems at Schneider Electric, he is an IFMA Facility Management Professional (FMP®) and serves on the Technical Committee of the Egypt Facility Management Forum.
