Senior Director: Smart Factory

Gulshan Kumar Saini is a global manufacturing and smart factory transformation leader with over 30 years of experience at Samsung Electronics, having held senior roles across India, Vietnam Korea, Russia, and the U.S. He currently serves as Senior Director - Smart Factory at Samsung Electronics India, where he leads digital transformation across advanced manufacturing lines for consumer durables using AI, robotics, IoT, vision systems, and Digital Twin technology.

Gulshan is recognized for his ability to drive large-scale automation and productivity gains, delivering industry-leading results in cost reduction, quality, and efficiency. He has successfully led global NPI programs, lean implementation, and high-complexity plant setups. A certified PMP and Six Sigma Black Belt, he also holds an MBA in FinTech from BITS Pilani, bringing strong digital and financial acumen to manufacturing innovation. 

As a Council member, he brings deep insight into scaling Industry 4.0 technologies and bridging traditional operations with future-ready intelligent systems.
