The corporate energy management market opportunity attracts a wide range of suppliers – strategy and engineering consultants, technology services providers, automation and control suppliers, and energy management software suppliers. This report helps strategy leaders, chief marketing officers and business development directors that operate in the energy equipment, services and software markets to understand buyers’ perceptions of their brand and to benchmark themselves against competitors. Verdantix interviewed 210 energy decision-makers at $250 million-plus firms in order to uncover their perceptions of 62 energy management suppliers. Verdantix heard that levels of engagement, purchasing plans and perceptions of energy management suppliers vary considerably. Looking forward, Verdantix finds that a fragmented supplier base comprising energy consulting, services, equipment and software firms is heating up competition in the global energy management market.
