The recommendations of the TCFD are becoming increasingly enshrined in legislation across the globe. But firms remain confused about how best to integrate the recommendations of the TCFD into broader ESG and sustainability management strategies. 

Verdantix asked 284 operations executives for their views on the role of asset performance management (APM) software in their firms’ operational excellence initiatives, and 97% said that it was either ‘very significant’ or ‘significant’. In contrast, only 15% of those surveyed said that they were using a commercial APM software application as of the end of 2020. 

Net zero carbon targets and new pledges arising from the COP26 conference are bringing decarbonization to the fore of real estate strategies. Energy, facilities and real estate directors are on the front line for operationalizing these strategies and driving action at the building level. 

The 2021 version of the annual global Verdantix EHS survey spanned 31 countries and 25 industries. Of these respondents, 74% represented firms with revenues greater than $1 billion and 66% held role titles of director or above.
