Callum leads on safety and security for IHG Hotels & Resorts globally; a FTSE 100 constituent with more than 6,500 hotels across over 100 countries. IHG hotels operate under one of 19 brands - which include household names such as Holiday Inn and Intercontinental - and under a mix of business models, including a significant number of franchised hotels.This diverse combination of brand, location and business model – along with the mix of guests types that these different hotels appeal to – drives a varied and regularly evolving set of safety and security priorities for Callum and his colleagues.
Prior to joining IHG, Callum gained substantial experience in consultancy, leading Deloitte’s HSE advisory practice, in addition to holding prior safety roles within hospitality, logistics, public and charitable sectors.
