Pat Grainey

Vertiv
Pat Grainey is a supply chain expert with a focus on resiliency. He is Director of Global Supply Chain Risk & Resiliency at Vertiv, which powers and cools critical infrastructure technology globally. Before joining Vertiv, Pat was Head of Global Supply Chain Resilience at Vestas, located at the headquarters of the world’s leading wind turbine manufacturer in Copenhagen, Denmark. Prior to working at Vestas, Pat was an Operations Officer in the United States Marine Corps, with a focus on cyber security and disaster response. His experience includes the 2011 Tohoku earthquake response and tsunami relief efforts in Japan.

Pat holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master’s of Science in Supply Chain Management from the University of San Diego. He is currently a candidate for a Master’s of Science in Climate and Environmental Law at University College Dublin. Pat’s civic engagement includes membership of the City Club of Portland’s Earthquake Resilience Research Committee, which authored a report in 2017 detailing critical preparedness measures for the region.
