Lori Kaczynski

Graphic Packaging International
Lori Kaczynski is the SVP and Chief Audit, Risk and Compliance Officer for Graphic Packaging International. She is responsible for leading the organization’s global Internal Audit department, internal financial reporting control structure and team, Compliance Office, and Enterprise Risk Management functions. In this role, Lori works to enable the achievement of Graphic Packaging’s strategic objectives, performance of internal controls, compliance with regulations, and to drive optimal performance. She helps the firm to identify and manage risks, leads financially relevant investigations, and ensures internal controls have been designed, implemented and are being executed effectively.

Lori has many years of experience in various industries and roles in external auditing, internal auditing, leadership, controlling, transaction and technical accounting, financial reporting, analysis, compliance and ethics, enterprise risk management, investigations, and cash management. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Kennesaw State University (KSU), currently serves as Chair of the KSU Accounting Department Academic Advisory Council – as a member of the Internal Audit Center Advisory Board – and is on the Board of the KSU Athletics Association.

Lori was inducted into the Michael J. Coles College of Business Hall of Fame at KSU for her contributions to educational opportunities for students and for promoting and embodying personal integrity, leadership and an entrepreneurial spirit. She was honoured by Atlanta Business Chronicle’s ‘Women of Influence’ award for influential businesswomen with notable professional achievements and community involvement (AKA Remarkable Women) and has authored or been interviewed for many articles in the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Lori serves her professional community as a speaker and panellist at keynote speeches, global and local conferences (such as AICPA, WSJ, Compliance Week and NAEM), Chief Audit Executive and Compliance Officer Roundtables, Audit TV, and university classrooms (such as KSU and Emory).

She serves on the Finance Committee and Board of Sheltering Arms, Georgia’s largest nonprofit early education and childcare organization, focused on high‐quality early education, childcare and comprehensive family support services for more than 3,600 children and their families annually at 16 metropolitan Atlanta locations. She served as Treasurer and a Board member for the Smith-Gilbert Gardens Foundation, funding the Garden's mission of conservation and education, for 9 years. Lori also sits on the Advisory Board for professional services firm Rausch Advisory Services. She was the CFO/Treasurer and Vice President of Membership, and is the current sponsorship representative for the Institute of Internal Auditors Atlanta Chapter. She is a member of the AICPA Assurance Services Executive Committee.

Lori is committed to developing and accelerating the advancement of women in business and leadership. She is the executive sponsor for Graphic Packaging’s women's group and previously served as Chair of a Women’s Resource Group at a prior employer, and she volunteers her time for mentoring and coaching.
