With 20 years of corporate sustainability and global biodiversity conservation experience, Joy Lam is a dedicated and creative leader with an international background. She helps businesses and multinational organizations transform for the future with deliverable real-world strategies and solutions.

Joy is currently the Group ESG Director at Crown Worldwide Group, a global logistics firm, based in London. She has strategic oversight of Crown’s sustainability agenda, working closely with business heads and their designated employees to lead effective, sustainable, inclusive and socially responsible initiatives, including an ambitious net zero plan for its operations in 40+ countries.

Formerly Circular Economy Director at the LEGO Group, she transformed the organization’s approach to sustainability and business models by setting the strategic definition and direction for circular economy, creating a 2032 ambition and roadmap, and delivering industry-leading initiatives. Before relocating to Europe, Joy worked extensively in APAC, including heading up the sustainability office at the University of Hong Kong.

As a thought leader in sustainability, Joy teaches regularly on sustainable business in Denmark, Hong Kong and most recently at UCL in the UK. Joy has a Master of Science from the University of Oxford on Biodiversity in Conservation and Management.
