Process safety management solutions have seen increased adoption within industrial operations over the last five years. Delek US, a diversified downstream energy firm with assets predominantly in petroleum refining, has implemented an all-in-one process safety management solution from GOARC with support from Mobideo and Percepto, which includes permit to work (PTW), hazard identification, risk assessment, isolation management and establishment of safety protocols. The implementation of this solution has resulted in a reduction of 60% in the average time taken to create and issue a work permit and delivered annual labour cost savings of nearly $1 million, while streamlining the firm’s safe work procedures by presenting these in an easy-to-understand visual format accessed on mobile devices.
