The CRM and Data Manager will be a highly motivated self-starter with an interest in CRM, marketing technology, data and analytics. The role sits within our friendly and fast-growing marketing team and reports into the Marketing Operations Manager. On a day-to-day basis, the CRM Data Manager will oversee Verdantix's CRM, including working with vendors to source and manage client and prospect data, work with the team to identify and build business cases for and implement martech enhancements, and provide insight and analytics on a range of marketing data.


  • Qualified to undergraduate is preferable but not essential
  • 3+ years of experience working with CRM or other marketing technology
  • Demonstrable interest in marketing technology 
  • Experience within professional services, management consulting, market data, or technology is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of working alongside sales teams is also desirable
  • Strong analytical capabilities

  • To be considered you must have the following skills:
  • Knowledge of at least one CRM system
  • Understanding of how to purchase, work with, and sort marketing data
  • Ability to analyse metrics to provide insight to the Marketing Director and other stakeholders
  • An interest in the role that technology can play in improving marketing processes


Additional Requirements

Highly experienced at using the Microsoft Office suite

  • Excellent written English and fluent spoken English 
  • World class sense of humour

IT and marketing automation software experience

  • Experience of working with Salesforce/Pardot is highly desirable


Main Activities

Work with the Marketing Operations Manager to:
  • Responsible for analysing all sources of CRM data including customer, transactional, engagement and product data, identifying key trends and turning this into actionable insights
  • Definition and reporting of CRM related KPIs
  • Close collaboration with brand, marketing, and sales team members to ensure delivery of CRM activity is in line with the marketing strategy
  • Develop dashboards and reports, presenting key findings, interpreting results and impact on the business, and helping to shape improvements to the Salesforce CRM program.
  • Training of colleagues on CRM processes
  • Generation of marketing analytics (including the company website)
  • Own the data acquisition and management programme
  • Provide task specific data to support campaign and event goals
  • Oversee audience mapping
  • Work to identify additions and improvements to the martech stack
  • Implement and manage martech components
