Executive Summary
With the increasing focus and change in regulations towards a net zero future by 2050, recognition of the business potential of predictive maintenance is rising. Delek, a diversified downstream energy firm, aims to reduce carbon emissions by 34% by 2030 as well as increase asset uptime by digitally transforming its asset maintenance strategies from reactive to predictive. Delek implemented Flutura’s Cerebra AI platform that leverages digital twins, artificial intelligence and machine learning to anticipate asset failure, capture previously undetected asset anomalies and provide recommended actions to adjust operating conditions to improve energy efficiency and performance. Implementing Flutura’s solution have resulted in a 10% to 20% increase in mean time between failures, 5% decrease in carbon emissions whilst increasing product yield by 4% and reducing annual energy consumption cost by $600,000 and fuel consumption by $800,000.
