A reframing of energy efficiency initiatives as a solid short- to medium-term approach to meeting net zero targets, along with energy price volatility in recent years, has driven investment in energy management software (EMS) at industrial facilities. Mature, but fragmented, EMS is provided by a diverse set of vendors. This report gives buyers of EMS a high-level benchmark of the capabilities of 24 providers.
