Executive Summary

Real estate and facilities managers should use this report to compare the asset management and maintenance functionality of 13 building IoT platform vendors. The vendors were benchmarked across a total of 14 asset management and maintenance criteria from the latest Verdantix benchmark study on IoT platforms (see Verdantix Green Quadrant IoT Platforms For Smart Buildings 2019). This includes seven criteria for asset management and maintenance capabilities and seven criteria for asset management and maintenance data inputs. The results show that real estate and facilities managers will have plenty of valid options to choose from as they expand their use of IoT to manage and maintain their building assets, with Johnson Controls, Accruent, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Facilio and Eutech Group scoring especially well.
