Executive Summary

This report offers a detailed, fact-based comparison of five of the most prominent risk management information system (RMIS) providers in the market. Based on the proprietary Verdantix Green Quadrant methodology, our analysis comprised one-and-a-half-hour live product demonstrations with pre-set scenarios, and vendor responses to a 100-point questionnaire covering six technical, six functional and eight market momentum categories. Capabilities were assessed across the following categories: AI-first database; AI operations; data acquisition and architecture; data management; configuration; user interface; claims administration; claims risk and legal management; incident management; policy and insurance management; risk and exposure data management; and risk analytics and modelling. Verdantix also conducted interviews with software customers of the assessed vendors and reviewed the data from our recent global corporate survey of over 300 risk executives and decision-makers. The RMIS market is gaining momentum as organizations face higher claims costs, tighter regulatory scrutiny and the need to centralize risk data across global operations. With legacy manual processes not keeping pace, firms are increasing investment in modern RMIS platforms to gain real-time insights, reduce losses and improve compliance. Among the providers featured in the study, three firms – Origami Risk, Riskonnect and Aclaimant – placed in the Leaders’ Quadrant, demonstrating the most comprehensive and evolved RMIS capabilities.
