Executive Summary

This report provides a detailed, fact-based benchmark of 11 of the most prominent enterprise AI platform providers in the market. Based on the proprietary Verdantix Green Quadrant methodology, our analysis included live briefings, customer interviews and vendor responses to a detailed 143-point questionnaire, covering 18 capability and nine momentum categories. This study finds that the enterprise AI platform market is evolving, as organizations prioritize stacks that scale beyond pilots, unify and govern diverse data, and embed AI directly into business workflows. Buyers seek platforms that move from insight to action through agents, copilots and low-code automation, improving productivity, risk management and compliance. Across data-centric, ontology-backed process automation and developer-oriented offerings, firms are converging on one goal: turning fragmented experimentation into repeatable, enterprise-wide value. Among the providers featured in the study, five firms – C3 AI, IBM, Palantir, Squirro and WRITER – placed in the Leaders’ Quadrant, demonstrating the most comprehensive enterprise AI capabilities.
