Executive Summary

This report represents an extract of the Verdantix analysis of the quality management capabilities of 23 environment, health and safety (EHS) software vendors. This analysis originally was conducted as part of the recent Green Quadrant assessment process for EHS software (see Verdantix Green Quadrant EHS Software 2019). To help senior EHS executives identify the best-fit software, this software benchmark provides a detailed analysis of capabilities available from 23 EHS software vendors across 15 assessment criteria for integrated EHS-quality functionality. The report finds that three software vendors - ETQ, Intelex and Cority - have the broadest and deepest functionalities for integrated EHS and quality management. To ensure maximum benefits, buyers should assess their existing IT architecture and carefully examine what aspects of their EHS-quality processes should be harmonized. Verdantix research has identified three scenarios for firms to consider the best-fit level of integration necessary for EHS and quality management (see Verdantix Aligning EHS And Quality As A Strategic Focus For Firms).
