Executive Summary

In March 2018, real estate, facilities and asset management software vendor Accruent announced the acquisition of healthcare technology management vendor Connectiv. This is Accruent’s 17th acquisition to date. To learn more about the acquisition and implications for customers, Verdantix interviewed the Accruent and Connectiv leadership teams. The deal broadens Accruent’s solution set for healthcare customers by extending its functionality for medical equipment management and cybersecurity risk management for networked medical devices. Accruent is investing to make key functionality from its three healthcare computerized maintenance management systems also available on the Connectiv platform to offer healthcare customers a more integrated cloud-based solution. Customers transitioning to Accruent’s Connectiv-backed platform in the future will benefit from new user interfaces, greater software configurability and easier access to software updates.
