Executive Summary

Organizations are under growing pressure to develop dedicated nature strategies and thereby communicate the actions they will undertake to address critical nature impacts and dependencies. As with climate, this pressure comes from financial stakeholders – looking to reduce their own nature-related risks – and ultimately from regulators and national governments, in response to COP agreements. A broad ecosystem of service providers has formalized service offerings to help organizations develop novel nature strategies, while to implement nature solutions, firms can call on a robust and mature services market to conduct interventions at the asset level. This report provides a holistic overview of the nature services market, identifies key provider segments and offerings, and predicts the trends that will shape buying considerations in the 2020s.
