Executive Summary

These data tables accompany the Verdantix Global EHS Leaders Survey 2018: Budgets, Priorities & Tech Preferences which helps EHS executives benchmark their budgets, investment priorities and technology preferences relative to their global peer group. The data collected through the Verdantix survey supports strategic decision-making and business planning by executives at EHS consulting and technology providers. The annual global Verdantix EHS survey spans 35 countries and was conducted between August and September 2018 via telephone interviews of 411 senior EHS decision-makers with direct responsibility for corporate-wide EHS management strategies and initiatives. Of the 411 respondents, all belong to firms with revenues of at least $250 million and up to over $20 billion, covering 25 industries. In aggregate, 51% of the interviewed EHS decision-makers represented industries with high to very high EHS risk profiles. Our analysis finds that EHS budgets will increase by 4% in 2019, with an emphasis on technology spending and a view towards improving safety and operational risk, incident management, and environmental compliance. These data tables are a download only item.
