Executive Summary
This report, based on a global survey of 400 respondents, provides additional information on sustainability investments in two funding priorities related to the supply chain – improving supply chain sustainability metrics and procuring professional services for supply chain and product sustainability risk assessments. The data in the 2021 Verdantix Global ESG and Sustainability Governance, Budgets and Priorities Survey provide ESG and sustainability software suppliers and service providers with insights into market priorities. Our findings underscore the fact that supply chain information gaps are increasingly unacceptable, and companies are investing in initiatives to make genuine progress in all areas of their ESG and sustainability supply chain performance.
