Executive Summary

This report contains an extract of the Verdantix Green Quadrant 2017 analysis of the industrial hygiene, occupational health and ergonomics functionality of twenty EHS software applications. The majority of EHS decision-makers prefer the idea of purchasing a single, integrated application to cover all EHS workflows. But factors such as industry-specific requirements, limited usage scenarios for software or constrained budgets may push them to make purchase decisions based primarily on specific ‘must have’ functional requirements. Based on 15 assessment criteria, the Verdantix benchmark of health, hygiene and ergonomics functionality finds that Cority stands out in the market with a score of 87% of the maximum potential score. ProcessMAP is a strong second for ’total worker health’ functionality, Intelex, SAI Global and Enablon are all candidates to be added to a shortlist for vendor selection and Enviance is a joint leader for ergonomics functionality. Buyers should drill down into the security framework for medical records and pre-defined best practice content and workflow.
