Marketing Executive - Webinars and Campaigns

Job Overview

The Marketing Executive will be highly motivated to pursue a career in business-to-business marketing, with a specific emphasis on growth marketing. They will be a self-starter, with an analytical mindset and a natural aptitude for technology. The primary focus of the role is to support the Campaigns Manager in creating and delivering high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns. As part of this role they will take responsibility for delivering Verdantix’s webinar series, podcasts and assisting in the delivery of virtual events.

The successful candidate will have an interest and/or background in marketing and be looking to take the next step in their career in a dynamic, growing team. They will have a real curiosity for all aspects of the marketing mix and specifically, a desire to work on lead generation campaigns in close alignment with sales professionals.

You will be looking for a new challenge in a fast paced and exciting role that provides real opportunity for personal and professional development. The role sits within a dynamic, growing and friendly marketing team.

Experience 

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Some prior work experience in a similar marketing role

Skills & Knowledge

  • High levels of commercial awareness.
  • An interest in the application of technology to marketing processes - specifically, an interest in audio/visual technology.
  • The ability to understand Verdantix’s client base, marketplace and business model.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Organised with efficient time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Creative mindset with the desire to craft engaging experiences for Verdantix’s audiences.

Specific Business Understanding

  • Some experience business-to-business marketing experience is desirable, but not strictly required
  • Experience of working in a professional office environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Some knowledge of using audio/visual technology (including video production, podcast production etc) is desirable.
  • The ability to use Powerpoint to make clear presentations.
  • World class sense of humour!

Main Activities

  • Organising, managing and creating audio/visual content, including live webinars.
  • Creating materials in support of audio/visual content, including descriptions, on-screen messaging and calls-to-action.
  • Managing webinar follow-up.
  • Supporting the Campaigns Manager with other lead generation activity, including liaising with the research teams and working with colleagues in the marketing function to develop and execute multi-channel campaigns.
  • Assisting in the commissioning of advertising.
  • Compiling and analysing performance data to drive continual improvement.
