Executive Summary
This report helps vendors who provide smart building IoT platforms – and particularly executives in the role of chief marketing officer, business development manager or strategy executive – to measure how heads of real estate and facilities management perceive their brand. The Verdantix global survey interviewed 285 senior real estate and facilities management decision-makers at organizations that occupy mid to large real estate portfolios. The survey finds that established vendors such as Bosch, Honeywell, Schneider Electric and Siemens possess the highest levels of global awareness, with newer entrants seeing significant growth in brand awareness since 2020. To improve the market’s recognition of vendors’ capabilities in a busy and fragmented space, IoT suppliers should market new angles of differentiation and target integrations and acquisitions to enhance their positioning in the market.Established Building Technology Vendors Continue To Dominate Brand Awareness
