Executive Summary

This report provides a unique data set for EH&S software vendors to understand at what organizational level software is deployed across 15 EH&S processes. For each process, respondents were permitted to select all three organizational levels or indicate they had not deployed commercial software. Building on the fact that corporate-level penetration rates are higher, on average, Verdantix finds that sustainability reporting, auditing and incident management are the most used corporate EH&S applications when compared to business unit and facility-level deployment. The current levels of EH&S software penetration indicate there are growth opportunities for vendors, particularly as Verdantix data shows levels of non-usage to range between 54% and 78%.
