As flexible and agile working becomes a global standard for office-based industries, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are implementing hybrid working programmes. To help SMEs define a hybrid workplace strategy, this report provides practical guidance and offers a set of actionable steps to create a new workplace fit for the hybrid era. The report draws on learnings from ongoing Verdantix experience as well as our interviews with small firms and experts across the facilities management sector. The research finds that firms should take an integrated approach across HR, IT and employee engagement to define workplace strategies. Once a firm has defined its new hybrid working strategy and the supporting policies, the next step is to consider how a specialist software solution could add value.
