Executive Summary
This report provides CEOs, VPs of strategy and VPs of product development with independent analysis of the official launch of C3’s energy management application on August 11, 2011. Co-founded by Tom Siebel and Patricia House, C3 has operated in stealth since 2008. Verdantix spoke with Patricia House, SVP Strategy, and Chris Stauber, VP Products, to find out more about C3 and its software platform. Verdantix heard that since 2008 C3 has put together a highly experienced board and team of 130 employees, an expansive partnership network and a solid customer list. Upon unveiling its software platform C3 announced customer wins with corporates such as Constellation Energy, Dow Chemicals, Masdar City and Pacific Gas & Electric. Verdantix finds that C3 will encounter an increasing number of competitors over the next few years and those that are most suitably equipped in terms of funding, partners and board-level executives will be the ones left standing in 2016.
